Women in Tech and Compensation Parity – Educate Yourself and Drive Change

There are lots of completely qualified, brilliant women who choose to take their talent and use it elsewhere. Re-entering the workforce doesn’t mean you have to accept less compensation than your male counterparts.  “Yes” – you’re anxious about the gap in your resume, or perhaps that your skills aren’t as current as the same folks vying for the same position as you.  This does not mean that you need to walk into an interview expecting to be paid less than you’re worth.  Spend some time with JoAnn’s block post and deepen your understanding around the compensation conversation when it comes to securing your next job.
